Character Refs:Gargoyle, Theodore, and Blaire

Here are some random refs for my fan characters: Simon Theodore Hedgehog, Blair the Cat/Anti Blaze and my original character, Gargoyle for the DisCourt series.

It might be a while before you see me draw the likes of my other fan characters like Project Yoshi, Scar the Meowth, Ihsoy, and the giant plethora of fan characters that I've been reworking since I was in middle school but they will never be forgotten. In fact some of their traits, outfits, powers, etc will be implemented in the DisCourt series in some way. 

I'm taking a break from working on fan characters and anti versions of my favorite characters,like Moebians from the Sonic Archie Comics that have yet to be (and probably most likely never too be revealed, Thanks to Ken Penders..) mainly because of all of the research and revisions just to make them work IN AN ALREADY ESTABLISHED WORLD! It was fun at the most part, especially when typing out the bio for my take on an anti version of Shadow the Hedgehog, it was like typing out an essay for something you actually give a shit about. The problem was that because I wanted to stay true to the rules of these worlds to make this characters seem like they could somehow fit in with the lore of these worlds; without accidentally writing them as too over powered or total mary/gary-sues. Not to mention trying to come up with a concept that no one has used for their fan characters already. 

When I started developing the DisCourt series I was finally allowed to create my own world, my own rules, my own characters from this universe that maybe, just maybe someone would make a fan character for in the future. Which led me to putting some of my Tumblr blogs like Ask-TeamInvdrScar or AskPartyMeowth on hiatus.

And just to be clear I didn't want to make it seem like I was bashing fan characters. I've seen plenty creators who've come up with amazing designs and well thought up backstories for their OC's like my good friends      

And these people whom I admire but i'm too much of a coward to actually talk too: (And I'm probably just setting myself up for embarrassment by mentioning them  <XD )

I guess i'm just not as dedicated as I used to be unlike they are. They continue to come up with amazing stuff almost everyday and I highly recommend following them for all of the content they have to offer.

I also didn't expect to make such a long description just for character references...oops owo" I guess I just needed to get this off of my chest. So yeah if you still want to draw my old fan characters by all means, go ahead. I just hope you'll all enjoy some of the things I have planned for DisCourt, and maybe i'll come back to work on some fan characters in the future. <X)
